Pleated Silk Blouse and Ombre Dyed Silk Pants

This top began as a rectangle piece of silk fabric. I hand draped and pleated the front until the desired look was accomplished. I then finished it off with two applique pieces and a 22" fringe neckline giving it depth and weight in the front and back. This top is completely hand stitched and never touched a sewing machine.
This pants began as a white canvas. I wrapped the silk fabric around a rusted pipe until I got the desired look. I then hand dipped the pants strategically in dye baths until I saw the ombre of the dark sky. I then added piping down the center front seam of pants to give a 3D texture to the look. To finish off this already fabulous pair of dress pants I added matching applique to side hem of pants to bring the two pieces together.
